Eyrie

Well, still, not perfect, but I feel I'm getting better at it. I read some e-books about matte and learned loads of new techniques. My arch-nemesis is (still) perspective. One moment it goes well and another it doesn't and it drives me crazy. So I definitelly need more and more practise...

About the piece:

It's inspired by A Song of Ice and Fire. But I didn't want to make it as it's described in the book. This is just realization of what I pictured in my mind, when Eyrie was mentioned (without description) for the first time and I visualized this place my way.

~ 17 hours of work
~ used: free textures and some photos of mine (sky, that landing platform down there and some part of castle - crenellation and these 4 towers or whatever it's called in english )
