/ TYPOGRAPHY PORTRAIT TUTORIAL [link] /

Well, well, well. I tried this 'slave-job' text art once - as you can find in my gallery - 'Watch'. But since I've seen Morgan Freeman from :iconstraye-close: - I wanna thank him ;) - since then, I told myself I must make Scarlett this way, but until now I had not time and especially courage to realize it. So.. now I had lot of time and.. during 5 days I made this idea come true. :)

~ Numbers ~
32h 15min of intensive working,
Full Resolution : 3508x2480 = A4,
1150 layers (including background, only hair = 543)
infinity clicks on pen tool, text tool and eye drop tool
(yes no color overlay, but changing colors of every phrase / sentence / sometimes even words or characters)

Every single word is from IMDB, here are locations of text:

(Eyes) Iris - 'Scarlett'
(Eyes) Sclera - 'Johansson'
Eyebrow - Nomination and Awards
Forehead and nose - Personal quotes
Cheeks - Movies, where she played
Lips - Names of her character from these movies
'Lower cheeks' - Shows she visited
Borders of face & chin - Nomination and Awards
Place between nose and lips - Personal quotes
Ear - Trivia from her imdb profile
Earings - 'Scarlett I. Johansson'
Hair - 'My natural hair color is dirty blond'
Shoulders & Arms - Biography

Done in Photoshop by the way. The funny thing is, that firstly I wanted do it in vectors. And because I don't have Illustrator and hate Corel, I wanted do it in Inkscape :-D Yea, funny. One minute after start I closed Inkscape and opened PS. Because in Inkscape, the combination of text tool and curves sort of didn't like me at all. So.. never mind. If I would do it in vectors, it'd take so 5x more time than this and I'm not sure I could handle that :-D

Je to takový tmavý a ... nebezpečný a ty precizní linky v obličeji
připomínají otisky prstu. S trochou fantazie člověku vyvstává na
mysli nějaký děsivý sci-fi.
Ačkoli věřím tomu, že doba tvoření musela být taky docela děsivá X)

Teda, mám velkou fantazii, ale tohle v tom vážně nevidím. :D Tak to promiň za vyděšení. :) Jinak co se týče tmavosti, tak barvy jsou brány z fotky, ty mezery to ale na oko ztmavují, takže jsem pak celou Scarlett zesvětlil. Ono podobný portréty jsou vždy na tmavém pozadí a trošku tmavší, protože na jiné se moc nehodí - na bílé se to hází, když se mění barvy, takové se mi taky líbí, ale já chtěl zachovat barvu z fotky a na světlém pozadí by to zaniklo.
